Abstract
A 67-year-old woman complained of right sided neck pain and a swelling at right sided neck. CT showed a severe inflammatory change and a linear calcification in the right neck region. We could not identify the foreign body in the initial surgery. After placing a hook-wire near the linear calcification under CT guide, we could safely remove a fish bone. We considered that preoperative CT-guided hookwire placement would be very useful for the removal of foreign bodies in the neck.
