A case of synovial sarcoma with brain metastasis treated with surgical resection and stereotactic radiosurgery

Synovial sarcomas compromise between 5 to 10% of all soft tissue sarcomas in adults. Synovial sarcoma commonly occurs in the vicinity of the large joints and cranial metastasis is rare. Two weeks after surgery, she received cyber-knife radiosurgery and her neurological deficit was almost completely resolved Intracranial metastatic synovial sarcoma is rare. Surgical resection and stereotaxic radiosurgery was very effective in the present case.
