A Consideration of Averaging the Calculation Cost of CVMA for A Secure Session based Data Transmission

Abstract

The authors focus on a Cyclic Vector Multiplication Algorithm that can randomize a basis parameter for each encryption. On the other hand, the calculation cost of vector multiplication depends on the basis parameter. The calculation cost should be constant for strict security such as a countermeasure against side-channel attack. The authors propose a method for averaging the calculation cost for vector multiplication.
