Abstract

For storage yard logistic systems, it is necessary to generate transportation plan for raw material to appropriate storage areas. In this paper, we propose a dynamic optimization model for storage yard logistic systems. Firstly, we decompose the storage yard logistic problem into allocation planning problem and transportation route planning problem. The storage allocation planning problem is formulated as an LP problem, and then transportation routing problem is solved by a distributed routing method accordingly. A near optimal allocation and transportation plan is derived by repeating each optimization and information exchange. The effectiveness of allocation and route planning model for the proposed method is confirmed by numerical experiments.
