Abstract

α,α-Difluoro ethers and carbonyl fluoride acetals were readily prepared from thiocarboxylic O-acid esters and O, O′-disubstituted thiocarbonate, respectively, in moderate to good yields by the action of tetrabutylammonium dihydrogentrifluoride and N-bromosuccinimide or N-iodosuccinimide.
