A modified M-sequence with dynamic mapping and its autocorrelation

Abstract

The authors focus on a kind of modified M-sequence to accelerate the development of stream ciphers. This paper proposes a dynamic mapping scheme and considers the correlation property to evaluate a periodic property of the sequence. As a result, it is found that there is a symmetricity and the authors show its proof theoretically for further improvement.
