Abstract

The goal of this research is to generate antitumor substance emulsion which has a droplets' diameter of 200 nm or less. In our previous study, a microchannel device was oscillated by 2.3 MHz plate type vibrator. In this study, a small bolt clamped type transducer has been designed and fabricated to apply higher pressure against the micron-size droplets. The cross sectional pattern of the ultrasonic microchannel device and the bolt clamped type transducer was designed by using FEM. By using the device, we have succeeded in generating nano emulsion and the peak of diameter was in 100 nm.
