Abstract

A new hydrolyzable tannin, oenotherin T2, was isolated from the aerial parts of Oenothera tetraptera Cav., together with 15 known polyphenols compounds. The trimeric structure of oenotherin T2 was elucidated based on spectroscopic data and chemical correlation with oenotherin T1.
