Abstract

We evaluated SUVmax on PET/CT in 16 gastric lymphoma patients [6 MALT without Helicobacter pylori (HP) "HP (-)", 4 MALT with HP "HP (+)" and 6 aggressive gastric lymphomas]. The median SUVmax of HP (-), HP (+) and aggressive gastric lymphoma were 4.0, 6.6 and 14.9, respectively. The accumulation of HP ( + ) was higher than HP (-), due to an increasing accumulation of atrophic gastritis. In patients with SUVmax of more than 10, six of 7(85.7%) likely had aggressive gastric lymphoma.
