Abstract

Amphidinolide T5 (1), a new 19-membered macrolide related to amphidinolide T1 (2), has been isolated from a marine dinoflagellate Amphidinium sp. The structure of 1 was elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data and chemical means. The stereostructure of amphidinolide T1 (2) was confirmed by a single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.
