An adult case of Sotos syndrome with severe sleep apnea syndrome

Abstract

Sotos syndrome is a genetic disorders characterized by a distinctive facial appearance, learning disability, and overgrowth. This report presents an adult case of Sotos syndrome with severe sleep apnea syndrome. A 28-year-old man with daytime sleepiness was referred to our department Polysomnography examination showed an apnea hypopnea index of 103.1, and a continuous positive airway pressure treatment for severe sleep apnea syndrome was initiated.
