Abstract

The magnetic behavior of La1-xSrxCuO2.5 has been investigated by means of muon spin relaxation (μSR). The Neel temperatures TN for several Sr concentrations (0.0≤x≤0.20) have been measured. We found that TN is about 125 K in the insulating region, and 10-15 K in the metallic region, suggesting that the hole carriers are localized in the insulating region and delocalized in the metallic region.
