Abstract

The high resolution infrared spectra of HeN-CO2 cluster with N up to 17 in the region of the CO2 v3 fundamental band was studied. The He density profiles for HeN-CO 2 with N=5 and 6 were compared with those of HeN-carbonyl sulfide (OCS) and HeN-N2O. The variation of the vibrational band origin, vO, with cluster size, which includes a comparison with HeN-OCS and HeN-N2O, was also shown. The measured and calculated values of the rotational constant B and centrifugal distortion D were also compared.
