Abstract

A virtual supply chain is constructed based on the concept of smart manufacturing which is a network of collaborative and dynamic factories based on the CPS (Cyber Physical System) paradigm. On a virtual supply chain, it is expected that a simulation-based optimization copes with supply chain planning and control. In this paper, it is proposed that a virtual supply chain is constructed as a multi-agent system of software agents which are automatically generated from each selected enterprise model in the e-catalogue. Manufacturer, retailer and supplier e-catalogues, and an automatic construction system of a virtual supply chain are implemented as a trial.
