Abstract

The X-ray crystal structure of tetrakis (+)-hfbc Pr(III) complex, Na[Pr((+)-hfbc)₄]·CH₃CN, was compared with that of the corresponding Na-La complex with a pseudo-achiral dodecahedron, and the solution CD spectra were also discussed in the 4f-4f transition in consideration of the exciton CD couplet showing Δ-SAPR-8 configuration in CHCl₃.
