    Abstract

Phytobezoar is one of uncommon diseases which cause small bowel obstruction. We report three cases of phytobezoar causing small bowel obstruction and their CT appearance was reviewed. CT showed intraluminal ovoid masses that contained gas between dilated small bowel loops and collapsed ones. This CT appearance is useful in making diagnosis of phytobezoar associated with small bowel obstruction.
