Abstract
The present paper shows that a decentralized delayed-feedback control scheme can stabilize a homogeneous state of a two-way coupled ring map lattice. This scheme uses a local delayed-feedback controller at each site. We derive a simple sufficient condition for the homogeneous state to be stable. This condition allows us to design a robust local controller easily and systematically, since the condition does not depend on the system size. We show a numerical example to confirm the theoretical results.
