Abstract

A hybrid type DC SQUID system is developed for biomagnetic applications. It consists of a high performance square-shaped double washer DC SQUID and a highly accurate planar pick-up coil. The DC SQUID device and the pick-up coil are designed and fabricated separate. Coupling this device and the separately fabricated pick-up coil allows flexibility in the construction of multichannel systems as well as sensitivity and stability.
