Abstract

The present paper deals with a multirate control system in which the sampling interval of the plant output is an integer multiple of the update interval of the control input. In such a system, the intersample output may oscillate even if the sampled output converges to the reference input. This oscillation is referred to as ripple, and this problem must be solved. Therefore, the present paper proposes a new method by which to eliminate ripple in the steady state, and a simulation is performed in order to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
