Abstract

The peroxidase-like activity of the modified resin is demonstrated in its use for the determination of hydrogen peroxide by means of the chromogenic reaction with 4-aminoantipyrine and phenol. The sensitivity achieved is 80% of that obtained with peroxidase; the r.s.d, is 1.1%, and the catalyst can be reused without deterioration for up to 10 assays.
