N2 - This paper developed a new simulation technique of real rockfall by the Discontinuous Deformation Analysis (DDA) and by introducing the probabilistic technique. In order to verify the applicability and validity of the simulation technique, field tests on rockfall and corresponding simulations of rockfall tests were performed. The probabilistic simulation was conducted to examine the unevenness of rockfall.
