Abstract

The effect of the diagonal interchain exchange coupling J2 on the ESR mode for hexagonal ABX3 antiferromagnets is investigated. It is shown that the J2 coupling is essential to describe the ESR results which cannot be explained by the conventional model including consistency with the static properties and spin wave excitations.
