Abstract

We developed a Fabry-Perot interference temperature sensor composed of a graded-index (GI) fiber for cryotherapy. The sensor consists of a single-mode fiber attached to a glass capillary with GI fiber. The sensor shows excellent characteristics at temperatures as low as-43 °C.
