Abstract

This paper considers the compensation of flow disturbance to the pneumatic vibration isolators. In our method, the disturbance is estimated by observer without feedback of the estimate. Then, by using simple moving average, time series data of the estimated disturbance is smoothed to reduce the noise of a position sensor. Finally, the shaped signal is added in the control system of the isolators for suppression of the flow disturbance. Experimental results show that the compensation input improves the performance of vibration control.
