Abstract
A 76-year-old man presented with papillary tumor in a solitary renal cyst of the right kidney. The tumor was clearly enhanced on computed tomography, resulting in a clinical diagnosis of renal cell carcinoma in a solitary cyst. Although tumor enucleation was planned, cystic wall resection was performed since only old coagula were found within the cyst. Histological examination showed a hemorrhagic renal cyst without malignancy.
