Abstract
High-resolution infrared spectra of carbonyl sulfide solvated with helium atoms was studied. The vibrational frequencies were observed to move higher frequencies, continuing the shift previously observed for the binary complex, He-OCS. The results indicate that the first five helium atoms clustered around OCS induce a progressive positive shift of the O-C vibrational frequency.
