N2 - Pulmonary dirofilariasis is a rare disease in humans. According to the previous reports about this disease, the chest radiograph shows a single round mass in the peripheral lung. On HRCT, the mass has a clear margin without pleural indentation or calcification. The cavity formation within the mass is uncommon. In our case, the cavities with a smooth wall existed in the periphery of the mass. Histopathologically, a bronchiole communicated with the cavity. The characteristic HRCT findings including cavity formation, as seen in our case, may be helpful to differentiate this disease from malignant lung tumors.
