N2 - Recently, the magnetic coupling wireless power transfer technology has been attracting a lot of attention and is expected to have a wide range of applications in the electrical equipment around us. On the other hand, there have been reports on the application of metamaterials for the purpose of improving antenna gain and suppressing mutual coupling between antennas, and this study aim applying this technique to the magnetic coupling wireless power transfer system. In this paper, a magnetic wall by meta material suitable for a magnetic coupling wireless transfer system is proposed and its effect is demonstrated experimentally.
