Abstract

One leaky coaxial cable (LCX), which can be used as two antennas as recent research progress, is feasible to detect the location of user in a simple way. Localization using the proposed LCX has been researched for several years and most results considered the localization in an anechoic chamber with only line-of-sight (LOS) propagation component. In this paper, we evaluate the accuracy performance of indoor localization for the proposed LCX system over a multipath-rich environment using a geometrical-based single-bounce (GBSB) model.
