Abstract

Clinical applications of Multi-detector CT scanner (MDCT) angiography have increased recently. In this study, the influence of image quality characteristics on a profile curve of vessel cross section was investigated in order to evaluate the accuracy in diameter measurement for MDCT angiography, using multiplanar reconstruction (MPR). The profile curve was changed the most by decreased tube voltage combined with relative noise increase.
