Abstract

Still operator is the key player in plant operation. There are different challenges that face operator to perform the defined operation and to take the right decision in normal and abnormal situations. This paper presents an integrated operation management environment that include operator interface connected to virtual and actual plant and control system. It shows how system can assist operator to recognize plant view, voice, and smell through intelligent interface modules. Operation management environment is integrated with such automated environment using intelligent control and decision model in view of such technological user interface. The proposed integrated operation management environment and technological infrastructure can add great value to production plants.
