Abstract
Hall coefficients of single crystal CeNiSn exhibit huge positive peaks near 9 K and steeply decrease almost as in T to the large negative value -0.1 cm3/C at 1.3 K. Both the semiconductor-like behavior in the resistivity below 6 K and the positive peak in ρ{variant}a(T) near 11.4 K disappear only when a magnetic field higher than 12 T is applied along the a-axis. These results indicate that a coherence pseudogap opens below 6 K in the quasiparticle density of states resulting from the development of an antiferromagnetic correlation.
