Abstract

We usually adopt the periareolar approach for mastectomy in female-to-male transsexuals. This procedure is very useful for those whose breast is not so ptotic and whose volume is moderate. But, one or more additional operations might be necessary for abundant skin excision in a moderate or severe breast ptotic case with this procedure. So, we introduced the mamma abscission procedure which transfers nippleareolar tissue with a deep dermal portion and adipose tissue pedicle for such mastptoticthe spelling of this word cannot be confirmed cases. Nipple-areolar tissue can be transferred safely with this procedure.
