Abstract

In cancer epigenetics, aberrant methylation in the promoter is one of the key mechanisms for gene inactivation resulting in carcinogenesis in humans. Unique models have been utilized for studying methylation, for example, to determine the methylation profile, to study the mechanisms of methylation, and to investigate therapeutic interventions against cancer In humans. It is considered that further development of would be highly useful for further understanding and controlling cancer in humans.
