Abstract

Centrifungal partition chromatography and droplet countercurrent chromatography are applied to biologically active hydrolyzable tannins and licorice polyphenols. More efficient preparative fractionation is achieved than with more usual open column chromatographic techniques where loss and/or decomposition by strong adsorption on solid supports is often encountered.
