Abstract

The crystallization in chloro- and nitro-substituted benzoic acid-amine systems was analyzed. The cations and anions in the given compound were connected by hydrogen bonds to form a centrosymmetric ring. It is found that in chloro- and nitro-substituted benzoic acid-amine systems, imidazolium 2-chloro-4-nitrobenzoate crystallizes in the non-centrosymmetric space groups.
