Abstract

This summary covers the physics topics that could benefit from the unprecedented flux of muons produced at the front end of the future neutrino factory. A selection of such opportunities was presented at NuFact02 and their demands on beam properties were evaluated. This summary will survey the rare muon decay experiments and the high precision measurements that could benefit from higher fluxes as well as some of the new programmes that could use very large μ- fluxes. A number of technological developments relevant to the neutrino factories were also discussed.
