Electrical resistance of calcium is measured at temperatures down 1o 50inK and in pressures up to 100GPa using a diamond-anvil cell. Pressure-induced superconductivity of calcium is observed at around 3K under pressure of 85GPa. The transition temperature of calcium increases linearly with increasing pressure and reaches about 5K in 100GPa.
