Abstract

Two-component charge-transfer complexes of (BEDT-TTF) (TCNQ) analogues were systematically investigated focusing on the functionality of acceptor molecules and the well-known 'side-by-side' S...S networks characteristic of BEDT-TTF-type donors. The title compounds were found to exhibit unique crystal structures involving double-column donor arrangements. The compounds also showed metallic conductivities accompanied by metal-insulator transitions at low temperatures.
