Abstract
Penostatins A (1), B (2), C (3) and D (4) have been isolated from a strain of Penicillium sp. originally separated from the marine alga Enteromorpha intestinalis, and their stereostructures have been established on the basis of spectral analyses. The compounds 1 ~ 3 exhibited significant cytotoxicity against cultured P388 cells.
