Abstract

Dibenzo[n]phenecenes (DBnPs,n= 5-7) were conveniently synthesised through Mallory photocyclization as the key step. Effective mobilities of single-crystal field-effect transistors ofDBnPswere evaluated to demonstrate thatC2h-symmetricalDB6Pshows higher performance thanC2v-symmetricalDB5PandDB7P.
