Abstract

The pressure effect on the competing charge ordered states in θ-(BEDT-TTF)2CsZn(SCN)4 was investigated by X-ray diffraction method. Under 1.1 GPa, the threefold long range ordered superstructure with the wave vector q1 = (-2/3 0 1/3) was detected below 240 K, and the twofold charge ordering with the wave vector q2 = (0 0 1/2) was suppressed from 3 to 300 K by the pressure.
