Abstract
To reduce the emissions of CO2, weight reduction of cars is required. One promising solution is the application of high strength steel sheets. For the widespread use of high strength steel sheets, the required formability must be achieved. In this paper, the processing and properties of advanced high strength steels produced by sophisticated control of transformation including precipitation are discussed such as dent resistant deep drawing steel sheets, high burring steel sheets, ultrafine grained steel sheets and TRIP type steel sheets are discussed.
