Abstract

Synergistic antitumor effects of tumor necrosis factor α and interleukin 2 mini-pellet We have investigated the antitomor effect of IL 2 mini pellet on the therapy of murine Meth-A sarcoma in these years. In this study we used IL-2 mini-pellet with a small dose of nHuTNF-α and examined of its antitumor efficacy compared with the administration of IL-2 mini-pellet alone. Even a single administration of IL-2 mini pellet alone could inhibited the growth of Meth-A sarcoma that had transplanted in mice, the combined use was more effective. The lytic activity of splenocytes against YAC-1 cells was prolonged in the combined use, but the maximum level of that was same. In histological examination on day 7 afterthe administration, the infiltration of lymphocytes was found in a same extent.
