N2 - A Poly(amide amine) dendrimer with a diphenyl disulfide at the core was synthesized and well characterized, and then used for a host molecule for an organic dye. The molecule shows a reversible redox behavior between the dendron and the dendrimer, being achieved under chemical reactions. Furthermore, a marked difference of encapsulating fashion was observed as the structure changed from dendrimer to dendron.
