Abstract
Chemical equations presented. 13-Oxyingenol and its derivatives have high levels of anti-HIV activity. A fully substituted tetracyclic skeleton of 13-oxyingenol is constructed by using spiro-cyclization and ring-closing olefin metathesis as key steps.
