Abstract

Due to the recent popularization of digital broadcasting system, delivering continuous media data, i.e., audio and video, has attracted great attention. In broadcasting systems, clients generally have to wait until their desired data are broadcast. Therefore, many researches have proposed several methods to reduce waiting time in continuous media data broadcasting. In this paper, we implement the division based broadcasting system considering sequential playback called TeleCaS (Telecommunication and Broad Casting System). In this system, we evaluate the effectiveness for reducing the waiting time using the scheduling method.
