Abstract

A new fully automated tight coil annealing system results in more uniform mechanical properties than conventional batch annealing. Other advantages are: reduction in labor cost due to a decrease in manpower, energy saving due to reduction in fuel consumption, shorter processing time and simplified production scheduling and control, and improved pollution control and work safety.
