N2 - The MnO2 doping effect on ferroelectric phase transitions of CaBi4Ti4O15 ceramics has been studied by Raman scattering, dielectric measurements and scanning electron microscope. The Curie temperatures show monotonic decrease as the content of MnO2 increases. Softeing of low frequency optical modes has been observed for all the compositions, while the Raman scattering decreases markedly as the content of MnO2 increases.
