Abstract

X-ray elastic constant of metals having a texture in the state of plastic deformation is calculated from the distributions of axis densities measured by a simple procedure. The results are examined experimentally by X-ray stress measurement of a rolled steel sheet being in the state of plastic deformation and in the unloaded condition after it.
